OH HELLO!

We haven't been properly introduced . . .

I'm Catherine, lover of art, travel, family, running - but I'm only here to talk about one thing; BOOKS! You could say I have a slight obsession, my library currently contains over 350 novels, memoirs, classics, you name it. Like I love to tell my husband, "aren't you glad I collect these small inexpensive things rather than clothes, shoes, makeup, handbags?!" - he usually rolls his eyes but is forced to agree!

I started this blog because I'm constantly annoying my friends and family with monologue after monologue of my thoughts and opinions of books I've recently finished, and why they need to immediately read them too. I'm rarely not without a book in hand. I've been reading since I can remember, anything that I could get my hands on or that we were required to read in school. Through the years the majority of my belongings that I move from apartment to apartment have been ever growing boxes of these books. But do you really need much else?


My favorite genres include literary classics, historical fiction, and biographies/memoirs. I'm in love with Russian and European history as well as dystopian novels of any kind. Join me on this literary experience and I'll share some pretty amazing books with you!
